Foxy Bingo and Blue Nun annouce a partnership deal.

The Blue Nun brand of wine is to partner with Foxy Bingo to create a new online gambling site in a promotion that will be launched in June. Foxy Bingo vouchers will be carried by 1 million bottles of Blue Nun wine.

To the most people, the connection between a bottle of Blue Nun and bingo - (Foxy Bingo or otherwise) -might not seem to be readily apparent. However when the combination is looked at a little closer then the deal does seem to make sense.

The Wines & Spirits company that owns the Blue Nun brand wants to give it a new lease of life by pitching the product towards a new market; women in their late 20's to early 30's. Foxy Bingo happens to be played by quite a few women in that age range, as it appeals to a younger audience than the traditional bingo player stereotype.

When you view the two companies from a strictly marketing perspective, the partnership of Foxy Bingo and Blue Nun makes perfect sense.
