888ladies Bingo World Cup Survey
In the wake of England’s World Cup defeat and their disappointing performance throughout the tournament, everybody’s looking for Capello’s replacement at the helm of the lions. It appears that Davina McCall has beaten Chris Moyles in the search for that replacement.
The future of Fabio Capello appears to be hanging in the balance and with the FA soon to make their decision of whether he goes or he stays, everybody seems to be giving their two cents about the subject. After a survey conducted by 888ladies Bingo it appears that the women of the nation have decided on the issue.
888ladies Bingo surveyed a total of 2,500 women across the country to find out who the public thought could do a better job at getting England back on track and ready for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. The readers chose Davina McCall as their fab England manager!
Over half of the survey entrants (nearly 60%) believe that Davina McCall who currently presents Big Brother would be perfect for the job!
24% routed for Carol McGiffin who is a co presenter at Loose Women, and Katie Price gained just over 10% of the votes. Lily Allen came last with a measly 6% of the votes.
It appears that the public are very confident in Davina’s coaching abilities after she led the contestants in the English Big Brother house to a successful penalty shootout against the German housemates. Could she do the same for the actual England squad too? The public seems to think so.
One woman commented on the fact that Davina’s maternal role could really help our team with some of their personal issues so they could really focus on their football instead. Another woman said that ‘Carol McGriffin could really knock those boys into shape’. Katie Price was a bit of an odd choice but maybe it’s her ball skills that women thought could help!
When it came to the men voters believe that the person for the job is Chris Moyles without a doubt and he took nearly half of the votes (over 45%). Nearly a third of voters thought Sir Alan Sugar would do it better, and almost quarter would give the job to comedian James Corden.
With his ability to work with and ‘cheer up’ tired celebrities on his early morning Radio 1 breakfast show it’s not surprising that Chris was chosen as an ideal candidate to coach the England team. One woman commented that Chris would be great at, ‘keeping team spirits high as he did with his Kilimanjaro team and his humour would bond them together’.
Sir Alan Sugar was a more surprising candidate but perhaps the ladies polled thought his time with Tottenham Hotspur combined with his no nonsense approach would be a winning formula!
It is the opinion of the majority of 888ladies Bingo players that Capello’s time is over and that it is time for one of our national treasures to take over and get things fired up and ready for the next big challenge.
