Aries Personality

Aries is a fire sign represented by a ram, and is ruled by the planet Mars. People born under this sign tend to be impulsive by nature, sometimes brash, but tend to be confident, enthusiastic, and natural leaders. Arians need to be the boss in whatever they do. Extremely competitive, life is a battle to be entered in and won. In fact, with Aries everything is possible and the impossible just means that it takes that little bit longer to achieve!

The impulsive nature of Aries means that they will act first and think later, which can make them a bit reckless and short sighted sometimes. Always ready for action, Aries natives will very eagerly start a new adventure but may not necessarily see it through. However as they mature they learn to slow down in their reactions. They are born risk takers and will bravely put themselves on the line for what they want to achieve. Aries people are fiercely independent and self reliant, competitive, active, direct, and straight forward.  Aries people are also very warm hearted and will easily form bonds with people of all walks of life. Also, not one to be shy, they will be happy to pursue and initiate relationships because despite their independent streak, they do need someone to be independent from!

There is never a dull moment with Aries, although they can flip flop between being sluggish and having unstoppable drive and enthusiasm. Although very energetic, it is not a constant flow of energy and can be quite erratic at times.
