Virgo is an earth sign and the only one to be represented by a woman. Virgo is ruled by Mercury and is of mutable quality. Virgos are inherently intelligent, analytical and love mental stimulation. They are also practical, modest, meticulous, reliable, shy and self effacing. Virgos love details and if you need to get a job done, then Virgo is the one to do it precision and efficiency, after all Virgos strive for perfection. Virgos are naturally adaptable and versatile and are very good at multitasking, and make excellent communicators.

Virgos have a reputation for being neat freaks, although in reality they can be quite untidy. They are always organised, and at worst they live in an organised chaos. They can also be perceived to be a little bit cold or detached, often with a sophisticated demeanour . Many times this is a front for covering too much emotion as Virgos need their time to warm up, but once they engage they will burn for a long time afterwards.  Virgos are sensitive beings and are very sensual when it comes to romance. 

Virgos tend to be critical, and tend to notice flaws and mistakes although this is not done out of nastiness, but out of a genuine desire to make things better. Virgos always aim to bring order into chaos, you can find them making “to-do” lists, and love nothing more than to solve a problem. There is always a purpose to everything that they do, as they see no point in doing something just for the sake of it.
